Rawson, a Northern Nevada Juniors member won the Girls 15 to 18 division. River Commons was second.

“It’s definitely really cool because I’ve been kind of struggling lately shooting good scores,” Rawson said. “It’s cool to finally have some hard work pay off.”

Swanson, also a Northern Nevada Juniors member, put on a show by finishing with a total of 11 under par to win the Boys 15 to 18. Michael Edwards at 2-under par was second.

“This win feels great and it’s perfect timing,” Swanson said. “Being able to shoot under par all three days in a row and keep that consistency going is going to give me a lot of motivation going into these next days and next tournaments.”

Halstead, a Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association member, won the Girls 13 to 14 division. Emma Cooper was second.

“My driving was pretty on point. I think I missed maybe three fairways this whole time and I was very good at my approach shots and my putting,” Halstead said. “All the girls I met were the sweetest and just all of the people volunteering to help was really nice as well.”

In the Boys 13 to 14, Dutra, another Northern Nevada Juniors member, won over Maddux Nichols.

“I’m definitely happy with this. I have wins in smaller tournaments, but this is definitely one of the biggest tournaments that I’ve won in my career,” Dutra said.
