“Being out here is incredible and this course is beautiful,” says Lisa Carlson, Co-President, Winnemucca Ladies Golf Association. “We’re in rural Northern Nevada, and it’s something special for our club.”
Just as with all of the 100+ member clubs throughout Nevada, the group utilizes the handicap system and all that is offered by Nevada Golf, an official Allied Golf Association of the United States Golf Association.
“I serve as the handicap chairman, so I have firsthand knowledge of how the system works,” says Laurie Picket, Co-President, Winnemucca Ladies Golf Association. “I’ve worked with the USGA and Nevada Golf to ensure our members’ handicaps are updated weekly, and I prepare the scorecards with accurate handicaps each week. Nevada Golf is terrific.”
