Nevada Golf Northern Region members donated more than $13,000 to junior charities in 2025, once again revealing the generosity of golfers and amateur golf in Nevada. Never underestimate how small kind gestures can multiply when demonstrated by many thoughtful individuals.
Northern Region members of Nevada Golf (formely NNGA) had the option to donate to Junior Golf when joining or renewing their USGA Handicap ID (GHIN number) or when processing tournament registrations.
These funds, combined with the proceeds from the annual Thankful for Golf Raffle, made the following donations possible:
Northern Nevada Junior Golf-$2,500
Fred Alexander Memorial Family (Junior) Golf Clinics-$2,500
First Tee Northern Nevada-$2,500
NAIAA High School Golf-$2,500
Junior Connections Scholarships-$2,500
Junior Ryder Cup team-$500
“It is always special for us to help build the future of golf in Northern Nevada, and these donations are member generated, so that makes it extra special to see our community come together towards a common goal,” said Cameron MacGregor, Northern Region Executive Director.
