Team victories mean more. And two close-knit teams won titles at the 2025 Nevada State Women’s Quad played on the Lakes course at the Red Hawk Golf and Resort in Sparks, Nevada.

Winning the gross title was a team made up of players from both the North and the South in the Silver State. Christina Brandt, Sherry Bradley, Laura Hone, and Christy Atencio won the two day event with an eight under par total and solid play. The team featured members of Canyon Gate, Somerset and the Club at Arrow Creek.

“I’m from Las Vegas and these guys are all from Reno, and they asked if I would come up and play for the last few years and we finally made the quad work here this year,” said Brandt.

The W was just a nice byproduct of the team camaraderie.

“We want a team that’s gonna have fun,” Atencio said. “We all get together, and our golf games either
Shows up or not. We really are just in it to have a great time.”

On the net side, the team from the club at Arrow Creek with members Irene Resnick, Jennifer Spade, Debbie Jo Severin, and El-Marie Gili earned the title with an adjusted score of 29-under par.

“Well, we’re so surprised because we were in fifth place after the first day, so we went out super relaxed and that’s when we play our best,” Severin said.

It was a back-to-back victory for the strong team from the North.

“We won last year in Vegas, so this is our second time winning this award,” Gili said. “We are a good team together and really good friends.”
