CARSON CITY (April 25, 2026)–The teams of Ryan Cadaret-Sam Bruketta (Gross), Wade Davy-Kyle Steverman (Net) and Dan Hedges-Phil Pender (Senior Net) won titles in the 2026 Men’s Team Series. The Nevada Golf Northern Region tournament, a four-ball event, was held April 25, 2026, at Silver Oak Golf Club.–by Bill Bowman, Las Vegas Golf Insider

Ryan Cadaret and Sam Bruketta birdied the 18th hole to get to three-under-par and wound up winning the Gross title in a scorecard playoff.
“My partner did all the work on the last hole,” Cadaret said. “He played it the safe route and then threw a dart in there and made the putt. I went for it in two and went long. He played it perfectly and it paid off for us.”
Cadaret added this is the first event the duo has played together.
“It’s Sam’s first event since junior golf,” Cadaret said. “My partner from last year is moving to Arizona so I try to pick guys with a good attitude and who are fun to play with. Sam turned out to be really good at both. He did just a great job today and got up and down for us when it really counted.”
Cadaret added the team hopes to stay in the hunt for the title as the year goes along, but it won’t be easy.
“The next two events, one of us is going to be gone so we’re going to have to find a fill-in player,” he said. “We’re just hoping to get enough points to stay in the race. But like today, we’ll take the points when we can get them.”

Wade Davy and Kyle Steverman played two holes in five-under-par (Steverman recorded a net eagle followed by Davy with a net double eagle) en route to a one-stroke win in the Net Division.
But, in the end, it took a Steverman birdie on their final hole (the 16th) to seal the victory.
“This was pretty special,” Davy said. “Kyle shot the best round he’s ever shot…an 80. He was just on fire.”
Davy said the net eagle-net double eagle on back-to-back holes were definitely the keys to a stretch that sparked the team.
“Kyle’s net eagle was great and then I chipped in for the net double eagle,” Davy said. “It was just amazing. And then Kyle went on a tear and had something like five pars in a row for us. It was awesome.”
This was the duo’s first team title but they do have a couple of runnerup finishes.
“We’ve been waiting for the win,” Davy said. “We’ve known each other forever. Kyle’s 6-foot-6 and played college football at Idaho as a tight end. We reconnected a couple of years ago and then said let’s give this thing a shot. Kyle used to shoot in the 100s and 110s but he’s come a long way. We’re excited going forward.”

Dan Hedges and Phil Pinder played a five-hole stretch in five-under-par (one net eagle, two net birdies, one natural birdie and one par) in winning the Senior Net title by one stroke.
“This was a great day,” Pinder said. “Two years ago we started playing in these tournaments here and there. It’s sure nice to win one.”
He said the victory is great, but there are other benefits as well.
“We love the competition,” he said. “And we also get to play a lot of other nice courses in the area. It’s pretty neat.”
Pinder said Hedges’ play on the last hole wound up being the difference.
“Dan was on the green in two,” Pinder said of the par-five. “He hit two great shots and had an eagle putt and wound up with a birdie while I parred the hole.”
