Our Nevada Golf journey to spotlight some of the Silver State’s hidden gems continues with Fallon Golf Course, fun 9-holer in Fallon, Nevada. It was fun getting to know the members and why they love the course–and camaraderie.
“Fallon Golf Club is all about having fun,” said Josh Sherer, Men’s Club President. “We have different types of competitions and different types of tournaments. We all love it.”
Fallon Golf Course is located on the Carson River and is a Nevada Golf member club and course. The golfers enjoy the USGA handicap and being a part of the official Allied Association of the United States Golf Association in Nevada.
“The reason I like Fallon Golf Course is obviously the community aspect is incredible, but when I first started to golf, I was a little bit intimidated,” said Trisha Strasdin, Women’s Club President. “I thought golf was a very hoity-toity game, to be honest, but our course is extremely welcoming. They are laid back, but also great at keeping the integrity in the game and welcoming everybody at the same time.”
