NEVADA GOLF PRIVACY POLICY

Nevada Golf (from here on referred to as nevada golf) is a 501(c)7 non-profit organization.  Nevada Golf is committed to keeping any and all personal information collected of those individuals that visit our website, use our https://nevadagolf.org and make use of our online facilities and services accurate, confidential, secure and private.

This Privacy Policy Agreement shall apply to nevada golf, and thus it shall govern any and all data collection and usage thereof. Through the use of https://nevadagolf.org you are consenting to the following data procedures expressed within this agreement.

 

PERSONAL DATA

For a better experience while using our website or app, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions to update your email preferences provided in any email we send.  You may also contact the Nevada golf office to opt out.

This Usage Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our website/app that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

TRACKING & COOKIES DATA

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our website and hold certain information. Cookies are files with small amount of data stored on a User’s device which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our website and app. You can instruct your browser (such as Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge) to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Nevada Golf may collect and may make use of personal information to assist in the operation of our website/app and to ensure delivery of the services you need and request. At times, we may use personally identifiable information as a means to keep you informed of other products and/or services that may be available to you from https://nevadagolf.org.  Nevada Golf may also be in contact with you with regards to completing surveys and/or research questionnaires related to your opinion of current or potential future services that may be offered.

Nevada Golf does not now, nor will it in the future, sell, rent or lease any of our customer lists and/or names to any third parties.

Nevada Golf may contact you on behalf of other external business partners about products, services and offers which may be of interest to you.

Nevada Golf may follow websites and/or pages that our users may frequent in an effort to gleam what types of services and/or products may be the most popular to customers or the general public.

Nevada Golf may disclose your personal information, without prior notice to you, only if required to do so in accordance with applicable laws and/or in a good faith belief that such action is deemed necessary or is required in an effort to:

  • Resolve disputes between you and the Nevada Golf;

Our website/app does not address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”) and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from a Child without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Nevada Golf shall take every precaution to maintain adequate physical, procedural and technical security with respect to our offices and information storage facilities so as to prevent any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification of the user’s personal information under our control.

Nevada Golf also uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for authentication and private communications in an effort to build users’ trust and confidence in the internet and website/app use by providing simple and secure access and communication of personal information.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our website and app(“Service Providers”), to provide the services on our behalf, to perform website or app related services or to assist us in analyzing how our website or app is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics to monitor and analyze the use of our website/app. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. Our website and app do contain links to affiliate and other websites. Nevada Golf does not claim nor accept responsibility for any privacy policies, practices and/or procedures of other such websites. Therefore, we encourage all users and visitors to be aware when they leave our website or app and to read the privacy statements of each and every website or app that collects personally identifiable information. The aforementioned Privacy Policy Agreement applies only and solely to the information collected by the Nevada Golf website and app.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

By using our Nevada Golf.org website you signify your agreement to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this policy at any time. Please check this page periodically for any changes. We will also let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our website prior to the change becoming effective.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Through the use of this https://nevadagolf.org website, you accept the terms and conditions stipulated within the aforementioned Privacy Policy Agreement. If you are not in agreement with our terms and conditions, then you should refrain from further use of our site. In addition, your continued use of our website/app following the posting of any updates or changes to our terms and conditions shall mean that you are in agreement and acceptance of such changes.

RENEWAL & AUTO-RENEW

Your AGA and club membership term may be renewed for an additional twelve (12) month period (“Renewal Term”) by paying the then-current membership fees prior to the expiration of your current membership term. By agreeing to renew your membership, you authorize NEVADA GOLF to charge the then-current membership fees (inclusive of taxes, service fees and processing fees) to the credit card on file associated with your account.  NEVADA GOLF reserves the right to change the annual membership fee rates for any Renewal Term.  Any changes to membership fees will be communicated in advance in an annual email notification.

You may have the option to enroll in auto-renew in order to renew your AGA and club membership.  If you enroll in auto-renew, then unless you cancel your membership or your participation in auto-renew before the cancellation deadline, the credit card on file with your account will automatically be processed on or near your anniversary billing date each year and you will be charged the then-current membership fees (inclusive of taxes, service fees and processing fees) for the following 12-month Renewal Term.  Members will receive an annual reminder email in advance of when the membership fees payment will be processed, informing them of the amount of the membership fees for the upcoming Renewal Term.  Members may cancel their participation in auto-renew and avoid incurring the annual charges by opting out online through the GHIN app or GHIN website, or contacting Nevada Golf by sending notice of cancellation via email to info@nevadagolf.org .  However, to avoid incurring the fee for the following renewal period, cancellation must take place before the cancellation deadline; that is, no later than five (5) business days before the scheduled membership fees processing date as disclosed in the renewal notice.   Following cancellation, members will continue to have access to their membership benefits through the end of the current membership term if that year has been paid in full.   If at any time during the membership term the member’s eligibility changes, auto-renew will be de-activated and re-enrollment will be required.  Auto-renew will begin upon the start of the first Renewal Term and processed annually on or about the anniversary of your AGA and club membership activation date.

Members will receive an annual email receipt after payment is processed for any Renewal Term.  It is your responsibility to ensure that your credit card on file and all information is up to date.  If Nevada Golf is unable to process payment through your credit card on file, your membership may be suspended or cancelled, and you may be refused member benefits until payment is complete. Failure to renew your membership prior to expiration of the current membership term may result in cancellation of your membership, which may include inactivation of your scoring record, Handicap Index and associated data.
