Net Amateur History

NOTE: The SENIOR NET AMATEUR is now part of the Net Amateur.

The Nevada Golf Net Amateur is the one tournament that Nevada state net players want to win. The chance to be a STATE champ is huge for everyday players who play for the love of the game.

In 2025, Scott Flanigan (Net), Jason Koop (Senior Net) and Brent Bingham (Silver Net) claimed titles at Resort at Red Hawk.

In 2024, the Net Amateur was played at Highland Falls Golf Club, part of the Golf Summerlin trifecta. Winning the overall net title was Trevor Coss followed by Luis Morais (Senior) and Jimmy Bradley (Silver).

In 2023, Northern Nevada’s Arturo Estrada won the event at his home course, Red Hawk Golf & Resort in Sparks, Nev. Aug. 10-12, 2023.

In 2022, Jacob Haas defeated Scott Flanigan 2-and-1 for the title.

In 2021, Aaron Bartels won his first state title by beating Jacob Haas 3-and-2.

In 2020,  Trevor Coss beat Jason Buckholz in 20 holes for the title. 

George Yocum won the 2019 Nevada State Senior Net tournament 3 & 2 over Jason Buckholz. The event was held August 20 – 22 at Red Hawk Country Club in Reno.
